After a month of heat in the low 90s and humidity in the high 80s, when the only relief I could find was swimming in the cool mountain river behind my apartment, an eight hour rainstorm Wednesday night broke the heat and ushered in some of the most delightfully cool, fall weather I can recall.
The breeze that blows through my apartment, even now, animates the wind chime hanging in my window and reminds me how great the post-summer weather is in Korea.
